Chris Brookes attained his skills after studying at New College Durham, where he obtained an ONC BTEC in Mechanical Engineering and a HNC in Mechatronics.
This secured an apprenticeship at LG Philips Display, Durham, where he worked a multi skilled maintenance craftsman.
After 11 years he became an Equipment Engineer, where he worked closely with Optimum Control Systems Solutions on many projects.
After the closure of LG Philips Display in 2005, he joined the team here at AR Controls as a Senior Engineer.
With 23 years experience within the engineering industry, Chris is a multi-disciplined engineer with vast mechanical and electrical technical knowledge. This ranges from design, development and installation of PLC based control systems to updating, monitoring and implementing large maintenance investments within a pre-budget.
