Callum Wise joined AR Controls in March 2019.
Callum attended The School of Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering where he completed an NVQ 2 in Performing Engineering Operations in 2006. He also completed an NVQ 3 in Maintenance Operations (Comm Electronic) in 2013.
He started his engineering journey with the British Army Corps of Royal Electrical Engineers on leaving school and spent 6 years as an Avionics Technician and continued on to be an Avionics Technician Supervisor for 4 years, working predominantly with Apache helicopters.
After voluntary redundancy in 2013, he then moved over to Formica Ltd, promoting to Engineering Supervisor 2 years later. Here he dealt with varying levels of work, including large upgrades using Siemens S7 – 1200/1500s with TIA portal, SEW servo upgrades and smaller projects to improve efficiency and quality.
Callum has a wide range of industry knowledge such as electrical engineering and team leadership.
Callum makes a valuable contribution to the team and will continue to flourish at AR Controls.
